開瓶時即現酒香與果香並沒有太多木桶味道,是black fruit 的味道,不用decent已可品嚐可能已aging 了十年,2015是Bordeaux好年,係時候可以開了; ripe fruit and well balanced, black berry帶點vanilla & chocolate... , 非常Margaux特色的酒,既香又入口又滑,很不錯的一支Margaux ,看看再過兩年會如何?   Chateau La Tour Carnet 2010 699 法國紅/白酒 2010 Château La Tour Carnet La Tour Carnet Oak, spice, cassis, earth and mocha scents open to a powerful, concentrated tannic wine with the structure to age well. There is some dryness in the finish. 89-91 90 points    來自 Bordeaux Haut Medoc 的 Chateau La Tour Carnet 是 Grand cru classe 4級酒壯;350(SG) 葡萄成份:60% merlot / 34% cabernet Sauvignon / 5% cabernet Franc / 1% petit verdot.. 單看成份主要是 merlot ,cabernet Sauvignon 只有34%還以為單寧較輕,那知第一口還是覺得有點酸澀,已經提前半小時開瓶;再將酒倒在酒杯再醒酒15-20分鐘跟空氣接觸後單寧被軟化,入口已順喉得多;醒酒後的 Bordeaux 較適合我等初學者。不錯的一支 Grand cru classe,入口有層次感木桶味濃厚。 如能夠先在 decanter 醒酒半小時效果應更好。  2010 Bdx 好年,好年好酒。

The wine was produced from a blend of 50% Merlot and 50% Cabernet Sauvignon. 84 points - Tasted Mar 11, 2015 807 Views Light in color, medium boded, red berry dominated wine, with a lean, bright finish. 83-86 Pts 84 points - Tasted Apr 23, 2013 1329 Views Average Selling Price: (€23.5) • Find this wine to buy on Wine-Searcher 2010 Château de Camensac Medium bodied with blackberry, cassis, leaf and earthy notes, the wine is bright, fresh and spicy. 88 points - Tasted Feb 6, 2013  來自 Bordeaux Haut-Medoc 的5級酒莊 / 成份 55% cabernet sauvignon / 45% melot (Jc.280-350) 開瓶時已酒香四溢有點花香的氣息,讓酒在樽內呼吸一下約一個半小時,第一口已非常順喉果味濃厚夾雜著木桶香味,沒有太重的單寧感雖然 Cabernet sauvignon起過一半;雖然是5級酒莊但一點也不遜色,用這個價錢能夠品嘗 grand cru classe的美酒實在超值。 當倒下第二杯可能在杯內 decant 時間較長,發覺酒像變酸了一點點,明天再試剩下的半支。  cork.g

  Chateau D'armaihac 2011 603 法國紅/白酒 2011 Château d'Armailhac Very floral, with black cherry, cocoa, blackberry and earthy scents rounding out the perfume. The soft, easy to like and drink style is very good for the vintage. 90 points  From a blend of 57% Cabernet Sauvignon, 28% Merlot, 13% Cabernet Franc and 2% Petit Verdot, the wine opens with espresso and blackberry scents. Medium-bodied, fresh, charming and easy to like, the wine ends with fresh cassis. 89-91 Pts 90 points  來自 Bordeaux Pauillac 的 chateau d'Armailhac  是 Grand cru classe 5級酒壯;價錢約HK$328-408(gcc) 葡萄成份:28% merlot / 57% cabernet Sauvignon / 13% cabernet Franc / 2% petit verdot.. Pauillac 酒區專出一級靚紅酒,這支同樣來自Pauillac 區的5級酒亦不遜色但價錢也不便宜,酒莊已被 Chateau Mouton Rothschild 收購;一贯 Bordeaux 紅酒的深紅寶石色,開樽後酒香濃濃,飲前一個半小時開樽待用;第一口已很順喉雖是2011年較新的酒但單寧適中較重的果香味適合我等初學者。 成份占13% cabernet Franc 也不覺得酸,而酒香是來自2% 的petit verdot嗎?要再研究一下。 cork.g

  Chateua Branaire Ducru St. Julien 2011 218 法國紅/白酒 A dense blue/ruby/purple color is followed by notes of raspberries, incense and spring flowers, supple tannins, medium body and excellent elegance as well as purity. The result is a suave, savory 2011. While it does not possess the size or richness of vintages such as 2009 and 2010, the 2011 has plenty of charm and appeal. Drink it over the next decade. Score: 89 A top-notch effort from this estate, the 2011 exhibits an exotic perfume of lead pencil shavings, white chocolate, raspberry jam and red as well as black currants. Loads of fruit, a medium to full-bodied mouthfeel and velvety tannin suggest this beauty will drink well for 15+ years. It is one of the stars of the appellation in this vintage. Bravo!   Chateau Franc Mayne 1998 ~~ Bordeaux right bank 292 法國紅/白酒 酒區 : Saint Emilion (Bordeaux right bank) 分級 : Saint Emilion Grand Cru (只是 Saint Emillion 自己訂立的級別,跟 Bordeaux left bank 的 Grand cru Classes de 1855完全沒有關系) 葡萄 : 90% merlot / 10% cabernet Franc 人生中第一次參觀的酒莊就是這個位於Saint Emilion的 Chateau Franc Mayne,在酒莊試過幾種紅酒後決定買了幾支較為陳年的紅酒,當時對紅酒完全沒有認識,當然不知 Saint Emilion 主要種植的葡萄是 Merlot,亦不知道 Bordeaux有左右岸之分;這支紅酒放了在家已經差不多十年了,酒櫃爆滿是時候要清清舊酒存貨;數星期前開了一樽 2002的西班牙紅酒,印象難忘對 Tempranillo 完全改觀了。 多年來都有一個疑團,紅酒是否越陳年就代表越好,酒味是否會越香醇?飲完這支 Saint Emilion 的紅酒有了答案,一般Merlot 釀造的紅酒不應陣年太久因為Merlot並不是Cabernet Sauvignon,Tannin的勁度有限;當然又不能以偏概全,因為右岸也有不少酒王如 Petrus 和  Le pin就是越陳年賣的價錢就越貴。 這支酒雖然已經陣年十多年但開瓶時並沒有以往開陣年酒時般酒香四溢,入口也沒有陣年酒應有的香醇,始終是 Merlot 釀造的紅酒當然有其black berry的果味但並不濃郁,tannic也不足,整支酒軟弱無力味道十分平淡,難怪左岸的紅酒多年獨領風騷,也可能這支 Merlot 根本就不應該陳年太久,跟 Cabernet Sauvignon剛好相反。
